Reaching Common Ground
Finding ways to focus on what unites us, rather than what divides us

About me...  I am currently the director of Capital Planning and Sustainability at the University System of Maryland (USA), where I help coordinate capital budget, facilities and sustainability efforts of the System’s twelve institutions on behalf of the State Board of Regents. Previously, I planned campus venues for the 2002 Winter Olympics at the University of Utah, where I helped design a highly successful public relations program related to campus development.  Prior to that, I helped develop a capital facilities rebuilding program while working with a highly skilled facilities team at Yale University. I've  done management consulting, writing, graphic design and illustration for numerous clients, including higher educational institutions and developers.  I have a master’s degree in geography (urban planning) and I taught geography, urban economics and environmental planning as an adjunct professor.  An expanded bio and resume is available by clicking the "View my complete profile" link on this page (and then clicking "My web page").
